3-D Best Fit Alignment Points

Hello,

Running a program on the contour of a satellite dish with approx. (550) points. These points are used in a 3-D Best -Fit alignment, with a loop function, to obtain the best possible fit.

During the best fit process these points are ran multiple times to satisfy the Loop Break condition.

Then I copy and paste these points, with the 3-D Best Fit alignment assigned and run one final time. This process takes about six hours since this dish is approx. 70 inches in diameter.

My question, is if there is an interruption in the run and I need to restart the program, Calypso, will not allow me to just run the best fit points. I will have to start the program from the beginning. Is this correct for programs with best fit alignments?

Thanks for any assistance provided.

CMM: LK Metre 4
Version: Calypso 2017

Just an idea, you could try to do it in cascaded manner, that is with multiple sub-alignments. With each you would slightly increase loop break condition valueA.
