[Ri...] Posted February 20, 2023 Share Posted February 20, 2023 I cant recall this happening on other Calypso installs, maybe I never paid attention to it. When you use Calypso the last Units set are the Units it will use creating a new program. When you save a program to specific Units shouldn't it open to those specific Units? This particular Calypso install opens any program per the last Units used. If I ran a program set to "Inch" mode, and later open a program set to "Metric" mode, the Units will convert to Inch. [Ke...] Posted February 21, 2023 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Fun story: Just the other day, I programmed a part in Inch mode using an offline programming station. After I imported it to the CMM station, I ran the program - The nominals were still in Inches, but the actuals were in millimenters. After I re-booted Calypso everything was fine. The other two programs that I wrote in Inches didn't have any issues... and I'm using the same level of Calypso on both stations (2020) ❓ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the program is in Millimeters and the last program opened is in Inches, the program opens in Inches. And vice versa. It appears the program settings of Units is ignored.
