Hit or Miss on Variables

Every inspection plan has it's own little database file. When you create or enable variables, they get added to that inspection plans database file. If you've never populated data before in that inspection plan for those variables, then they don't yet exist in the database. Meaning when you're in the editor and you look for it in your list of variables, it won't be there.

When you're editing report headers, make sure that you enable your variables in Multiple Report -> Report header parameters. Then make sure you actually fill them out with information, and either run the part or run without clearing existing results to simulate an end-of-CNC operation. This will push all of the new data to your database.

Then you can hop into Designer, hook everything up in your report header, and every inspection plan that you enable those variables for will automatically connect to the report header.
