Why does a Z axis Plane keep flipping from positive to negative or vise versa?

I have a plane, Plane1_E, I used a "Z" to report the planes location (-49.50).
The Nominal value changes by itself and I can't figure out why.
See image: Plane1_E (1).JPG
The same plane used in a profile doesn't do this and reports fine.

The nominal value for the Plane1_E alternates between negative and positive for every run of the program?
This doesn't affect the Profile ro any of the other characteristics/Features using Plane1_E.

Any help is appreciated.

A few versions ago, I had a simiar type of issue, with a normal feature (not Theoreical) reverting to a different nominal value.
After I deleted and recreated the feature, everything was fine.... I cannot recall if I needed to copy into a new program or not.

Are you required to use the Z characteristic, specifically? If not, I would just use a result element to spit out the absolute value of that attribute from the feature.

Aside from not trying to recall the points to a single point, nothing is solving the problem.

I have another Plane that is 205.5 below the plane in question.
It works fine.
Same axis, one is scanned from Above and the other that works fine is scanned from underneath.
