Avoiding longer stylus in holder

Hello guys,

I need to add a new, longer stylus in place of our current long stylus. The only problem I see is that we have many programs made by various programmers over the years, and some of them come dangerously close to hitting the current stylus. If I put a longer extension and different stylus in the same holder, it will definitely cause a collision.

Is there any way to set a universal clearance for the length of the stylus within the holder?

Are you saying the new one is longer and would crash indexing to Zero before storing in the rack?

With approach parameters you can change clearance during stylus change... does this help?
