Zeiss O-Inspect Optics?

Hello All,

I just recently started a new job that has a Zeiss O-Inspect 322. I have no idea how to use the camera and would really like to as I feel that it would be useful for the parts that we make. Are there any good resources on how to measure with the optics?

Thanks,
Ryan

If you have a recent Calypso version you should find a number of topics in the help file. Search for "Viscan". There's also a PDF manual for Viscan in the documentation folder ("optisches-messen_5.4", also reachable by a link in the help file), but it's very old and a lot has changed since it was created.

For a start, you can switch to the camera by clicking on the manual stylus change button. This should give you a choice between the XXT head and the camera. With the camera active, there's a zoom slider in the upper toolbar and an optics toolbar under the CAD window.
