After inputting my feature that the profile is calling out for and my datum, the characteristic is displaying as pink and says "Evaluation of characteristic not possible". What am I missing here? I think your problem is that you can't do a profile of a geometry feature to 1 datum feature in Calypso. I believe you must have the Freeform Surfaces option and use a Freeform Surface Feature. However, in years past, I seen/heard of people populating the Secondary and Tertiary Datum Features with the same feature used in the Primary but I'm not convinced this is valid. Wouldn't a GBF alignment suffice for this? Set it up with A and the relevant degrees of freedom unconstrained, then evaluate the profile using that.
