[Ma...]
Last week my machine tab was deleted and I only had the simulation tab at the bottom of the CMM settings window. I was able to create another tab for my CMM, but how do I re-qualify my master probe if I have the dreaded red X? I also have to re-qualify the sphere.....so how do I qualify the Master Probe if my sphere is not qualified either?
[Me...]
First place to look, if you lost your reference sphere radius is to look at last calibration documents. On mine, page 2 has everything about my CMM. I would give Zeiss a call to see if maybe some calibration files are needed that may have been lost. [To...]
As Andre stated, enter your ref sphere data from cert in book. See example below. Make sure master probe is loaded. Click Ref Sphere position. Select angle configuration of Ref Sphere. Accept default force settings. Probe top of reference sphere. Then create and qualify your other stylus systems.ref sphere cert.jpegScreenshot 2023-01-23 124935.jpg
