[Ch...] Posted February 2, 2021 Share Posted February 2, 2021 I am having an issue when trying to do an automatic stylus change with our RDS head. The RDS head move to the correct orientation to do the change. Then it moves to right in front of the rack to put the stylus in the holder it is assigned to. But when it get right in front of the rack position it stops. Then sets there for approx 30 seconds then error out stop light goes red and we get an error that states Accura RDS-XXT: Stylus system change False pick up position. we have tries the following: 1. shut the system completely down and restarted the system, with no change. 2. We have deleted and reinstalled the probe racks with all the probes, with no change. Has anyone seen this issue before? [Ja...] Posted January 21, 2023 Share Posted January 21, 2023 We are having the same issue as Chris Witt had, but with a different error message in the status window. Error message says, "PrismoVAST: Stylus system change Timeout during sync G0Y". It has happened to us twice intermittently over the past 2 days on 2 different programs, using 2 different stylus systems and on 2 different probe holder ports.
