[Ry...]
Hello All, I am fairly new to programming the Zeiss, and was wondering if one of you could lend a hand in helping me figure out how to measure this profile requirement. It says that the profile should be from X-Y, I'm assuming that this means that the surfaces between X & Y need to fall within this requirement. Is there a way on calypso to scan from feature to feature? Or is there a better way to approach this situation? Thanks in advance. -Ryan
[SH...]
It a pretty simple and straight forward call out.. Since the Datum reference frame is fully constraint, you can measure it has individual plane and calculate profile individually,if you don't have a free form surface. [Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. You most likely will need to use Curve. The Curve would start at X, and end at Y. This will give you a Line Profile, if you want to use Surface Profile instead, you will need to create 2/3 curves (high, middle, low) on the surface, recall those feature points into a Free-Form Surface, and then report the Surface Profile of the Free-Form Surface in respect to A B C. This is somewhat higher level programming though. If you are not comfortable with Curve and Free-Form, since your DRF is fully constrained, you could do individual features - whether that is normal geometry or individual Free-Form surfaces.
