Base alignment

I developed a base alignment based on plain, bore and self center point.
How can I start DCC alignment by self center point first instead of plain, point and bore .

I will add a stop option in point’s strategy to make sure part set up orientation is OK

In the plane's comment add formula:

getActual("Point_self_centering").comment

[[K...]]

Plain is established at PLUS z direction, and Point_self_centering is towards Minus x direction.

Did you tried to put your self centered point as first element ? (at the top of your element list) 🙂

If you only need a visual check for the self centering point without probing it then you can add a CMM position over the self centering point location and programmable stop in the strategy of the first feature it measures.
