Table file question

Is there a way to turn on table file for all programs at once? Will I have to turn them on individually by program or is there a global type of setting?

It's program based.

Should be done with batch script ( like LUA and others ) to edit this in inspset or inspection file.

If you use a template program, you can set it to be on.

While we're talking, I think merge files should be program specific, too.
i.e. program name_merge_chr.txt program name_merge_fet.txt program name_merge_hdr.txt

It is stored in "inspset" file "#resultToQdasFile ' ->' false)"

Locate and rewrite that according samples by some automated task to do changes to all programs.
You might need to custom name of files - should be in same file, just search for it.
