an Accura-II machine stopped in afternoon shift. after rebooting this morning, error message popped up. it looks like all probe data and carrier deleted some how. and probe head changed from Vast to nothing. if clock NO on error message, the machine initialization cancelled. 677_874f1fdd189acfffc2d74aa38de24012.png

Is this Accura equipped with the MASS option? It appears the VAST machine tab is missing but the RDS may be enabled. I would suspect the wrong machine tab is being accessed with the "Connect Automatically" checked if this is a MASS enabled CMM. There should be multiple machine tabs.

.

I've seen this message when an RDS sensor needed to be completely replaced due to a crash. That's not the only cause for this error message, though.

BTW way... do NOT click yes on that message.

Before connecting, try to go to the "Probe" tab on CMM settings and choose the right probe head. If you are lucky, it only lost this setting and all of your probe data can be recovered.

Same here. When our VAST XT head had died some months ago we got the same error pop-up. I find the error text very confusing by the way.

the problem resolved. it is communication error between probe head to controller. probe head changed from Vast Gold to Nothing. unfortunately technician clicked "Yes" that caused all probe data lost. all probes have to be restore from back up file. thank s for every reply.
