Calibration service.

Who is THE BEST calibration service ? WE need XXX ring gages calibrated. Tolerance is +/- .000005" We need the best calibration we can get. Our service shows deviations +/- more than the tolerance from one calibration to the next. I know that gages change size over time but we see a bit too much variation gage to gage. Who do use ?

The absolute lowest uncertainty available will be from a national lab like NIST or PTB.

However, you probably won't like the price, the time to delivery or the payment terms.

I agree with NIST and PTB. I also agree with the lead times and prices. I work in a national lab and just had a piece of equipment calibrated by NIST. It was a little over 3 months, but that is because we are a National lab. Your average shop wont get it nearly that fast.
