[Je...] Posted November 15, 2022 Share Posted November 15, 2022 I just noticed these on our web shop yesterday as a matter of fact. I haven't looked into them myself but it appears they are only good for "drops". They do not appear to prevent much in terms of machine collisions but may help protect the stylus plate in the event it was dropped or fell over. I do know of certain conditions where these would be beneficial but as a general rule, CMM operators know to handle the stylus configs with great care.
