[Ün...]
Hello, *What does the desired E-E mean in position measurement. And how it is created. A center point from 3 Ø10,2 holes?
[Da...]
Please sign in to view this quote. It's a pattern of all 3 holes. But, which are those 3? Are they arranged in the same section 120° apart?
[Ün...]
Shown in the bottom picture (Ø10,2 ), Yes 3x 120º
[Ro...]
3 radial holes constrain all 6 degrees of freedom. The secondary and tertiary do nothing unless they are releasing DOF somewhere else in the drawing or standard. My best guess is that they want you to create a plane out of the 3 center points and use that as your spatial alignment. Does B-C create a center for the part? Maybe E-E spatial, B-C center, and D clocking?
[Da...]
Nice conclusion Robert, makes sense. But if this datum system represents anything functional, I'm also going to be next Pope. They should use >< modifier, to clear things up. I found a little thread from last year -> https://forums-zeiss-com.translate.goog/messtechnik/community/viewtopic.php?t=4915&_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp
