Save Measured Points not working...

A few times lately, the Save measured Points feature has not worked. Possibly only since updating to 2022, which on a side note, I'm really unimpressed with so far. Anyway, I'll have some parts run, and data saved for future recall. When we try to populate the data, there's an error message. It seems the measured points were never saved, even though Calypso said they were. When I check in the idmeaspoints folder, all the part runs are there, but the files are all 1 KB. See attached.

I've bene saving and recalling measured points for years, have they changed how it's supposed to be done???

Under Extras-Settings-Environment-Paths, there is fixed directory for actual values. If that is what you are doing, maybe you have to update that path with the new version. I had to do that once. I am still on 2019. I am not sure about 2021.

Rename *.zmp to *.zip and open. What's inside?

We use the custom path definitions (names for output files) and get proper *.zmp files in 2021 (saved to network folder)

Probably just header/meta data but not measured data of features.

What about reselect saving method - Binary - plain text. Maybe some glitch.

I'm storing on a local PC.

Error posted below.

Shabu, This was already enabled. I've been using Saved Measured Points for years.

Norbert, I'd thought of this, and Matrin is correct, it's just meta stuff.

It won't help in solving the issue, but I've simulated a ZMP with only meta data in it and I got the same error, so this seems to be normal when the ZMP is empty.
The question remains, why are the points not written....
Are you on the latest service pack? (sorry, routine question...)

I mistyped the original post. I'm running 2022, not 2021. I'm running version 7.4.0001 (23.05.2022)

Looks like 7.4.0002 is the most current. Could that seriously fix it?

Well nobody knows if it will help - no info about patch 🙁 It's only mentioned this

Although not popular, uninstalling and reinstalling Calypso "might" solve the issue. Have you considered contact the hotline? If they can reproduce the issue, there's a good chance they'll send it off to Germany to get fixed.

Sounds like a path issue. You may need to go to Extras > Settings > Environment then change the path to match your 2021s path. That should get things working. If it doesn't then you can easily change it back.
