[Da...]
As the title says, is it possible to evaluate the following position tolerance in Calypso: I only could find 2d-Bestfit so far...
[Ma...]
I think you have fully constrained - so no bestfit. For TP spherical you just select spherical tolerance in list - but it should be only for spheres.
[Ch...]
Great question. I have seen a time or two where spherical best fit could be used. However, Calypso's best fit is a 2D algorithm I believe, so my answer would be no - spherical best fit is not allowed. I think I may have requested it on the MyVoice portal. Perhaps we'll see it in Calypso Quantum edition 2025 ... 🤣
[Da...]
Please sign in to view this quote. No, I am not. The >< means the element only gives me a orientation: Source: https://dccprodblob.blob.core.windows.n ... er_GPS.pdf I asked the designer, and he wants a bestfit. So back to my question, is this possible within Calypso? If not, is there any other software which could do it?
[Ma...]
Thx for explaining me this modifier. Then i would ask if it is valid. Perhaps you can use geometric alignment and select only translation and no rotation. But i highly doubt it is valid. Only if you have sphere you can use spherical TP - and there is no use of allowing only translation but not rotation.
[Da...]
With standard position characterisitic it's not possible: But with "3D Best Fit Alignment" maybe. Let me try...
