[Ni...]
After a recent update to version 2021, my input parameters are not saving. For instance Job No keeps reverting back to "Job No" instead of the previously entered number (example 123456). I cant seem to find a setting for this. Any help would be appreciated . [No...]
I don't know of any setting for this. As far as I know the input fields are either populated with the data in the inspection file or overridden by the contents of the protheadpara file(s). [Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. . Nick, I see you have this measurement plan in autorun. You've probably done this, but definitely open up the measurement plan in Calypso (not autorun), open "Preassign CNC Start Values," set the values of interest in this window to blank. Save and then close the measurement plan. Reopen the same plan and the "Preassign CNC Start Values" window. Populate the fields of interest with the correct data (job number, etc.). Click save and then open in autorun. Secondly, did you run the PiWeb Repair Utility (covert database utility) when you upgraded? This only applies if you were upgrading from a much older version of Calypso. Also, where in Minnesota are you from? I'm in Brooklyn Park at Cretex Medical. . [Ow...]
Sometimes after using subsequent evaluation in version 7.2, I have to open up the multiple report (in the measurement tab) and reselect the header parameters to be used in both the run and measurement boxes and recheck the force input at start tab before it collects and retains the numbers. [Ni...]
Thank you for the replies. I have been searching this forum for quite a few days trying to resolve this. While researching a few of the suggestions I was given today it led me to this link below after utilizing the "translate" feature in my web browser. viewtopic.php?p=27482&hilit=protheadpara#p27482 while focusing on the userfields.ini file It turns out I have two calypso folders (after the update) and im not certain which it is pulling the header data from. Once I changed both userfields.ini documents in notepad by taking out the variable after Job No= it was able to pull the info from the protheadpara file as designed. Now onto the process of combing or cleaning up the public\documents\Zeiss folder. I have only been working with Calypso for a year and a half. Some of these background documents are new territory. Also, I work in Coon Rapids at Lisi-Medical. Thank you all for the help.

Yes, I think PiWeb imports/converts old database info automatically now, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on PiWeb '21 after you use it for a few months. I live in Big Lake, so I drive by Lisi's site in Big Lake everyday. I've heard that Lisi has several Prismos, which is awesome. It's convenient that three of Zeiss's technicians that are authorized to work on Prismos coincidentally live in Elk River, MN, which is close to both of us. . [Ni...]
Please sign in to view this quote. That is a small world. I actually live in Elk River as well after moving from Big Lake in 2018. Can't wait until the construction is complete in Anoka. Early start times help ease the traffic pain of course.
[No...]
Please sign in to view this quote. It's usually the one that's ending with the highest version number. The folder of the very first Calypso installation on a PC is always named "CALYPSO" only, a quite annoying discontinuity when trying to handle things with batch files and scripts. Calypso doesn't delete its old folders in order to be able to migrate old settings. If you're still unsure which one's the current folder, open a command prompt (cmd.exe) and type "set". This gives you a list of environment variables. There should be one named "CALYPSODIR" or something, which contains the currently used path.
