Calling stylus system management from Autorun

Hi,

is there a shortcut or something to directly call the stylus system management form within Autorun?
I know one can use "stylus system / qualify / manual" and click the button, but I don't want untrained personnel to feel tempted to click on all those fancy buttons in the qualify dialog.

I apologize, I am not quite sure what you are after here. Could you give a bit more information on what you are trying to accomplish, or possibly post a snapshot of the menu you are trying to get to, to help me understand?

I want to access the window with the list of all probes on the left where one can quickly retrieve information about the qualification status, sigma etc of all styli in a probe. I want the Autorun users to be able to access this window, but don't want them to take the route via the calibration window (like they would have to if they used the Autorun menus).

Unfortunately I was not able to find a way to do this, though it might be possible with some creative PCM to display the information you are interested in using the message or display commands.

Yes, I already tried this, but also wasn't able to call the shortcuts from Autorun.
I think I'll have to switch to PCM to display the info needed.

I'm curious in Autorun if you change the privilege's blocking Qualify Stylus System if it will allow you to view the Stylus system management still while not allowing to click on any of the fancy buttons?

I have a qualification program that writes the results to a PDF. That serves as my "historic" log and I have a desktop shortcut mapped to that network folder. They are named by stylus system and timestamp. You can open the PDF to review.

This all seems redundant if you are using a time limit, and sigma limits in Stylus Systems Management.

I've had to lock out my users from Stylus change because they kept changing my rack assignments. So they only have run permissions, and Probe qualify in program only.

depends what you are looking for but maybe the info you want is in this path:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO\log

you can set a desktop shortcut..

Interesting. I'm going to have a look at this file when I'm near a Calypso seat again.

The reason for my request was an incident a few weeks ago, where a probe was marked as "not calibrated", but Calypso 2021 (or Autorun) tried to measure with it nonetheless, which caused a few collisions, since the stylus had an offset of more than 11 mm! So I'm looking for a way to make the probe status visible to the "knob pushers". If it shows even more info, all the better.

  • 3 weeks later...
Idea?
If CALYPSO PCM is present...
Create a "dummy mesurement plan".
Resources / Result to File / PiWeb reporting / Configuration ==> Select additional data for PiWeb reporting
Copy jpg and or txt file with PCM into the inspection subfolder \dataForPiWebReporting\
The copying process must take place during the CNC run. (The subfolder \dataForPiWebReporting\ will be deleted before the CNC start!)
Example: protocol_liste.txt
...\inspections\test_229\dataForPiWebReporting\protocol_liste.txt

The jpg image is displayed in the StandardProtocol.ptx at "detailed".
The txt file is displayed via the shortcut, if the file name begins with protocol* (Example: protocol_liste.txt)

Assign the "dummy mesurement plan" plan to CALYPSO AutoRun 882_4cfa252b25a89e96a179d15d66685960.png
