32 Drives=ignored due to collision error when going to home position

Hello everyone

I faced to a critical problem and I will be so grateful to you if you guide me to fix it. I have a SMC horizontal arm measuring machine with this configuration : Control: C16Bit; Firmware: V 1.08; Probe Head: RDS.
When I start CMM-OS these two errors appear:
"32 Drives=ignored due to collision, ANTSOLF ! G60, Stkn255" plus "Error from the CAA Correction"
What does this mean?
The machine can not move to home position, traffic light is red. Axes can move only using joysticks. I can change RDS positions too.
Can anybody help me?

Thank you very much

If you cannot move the axes at all with joystick (drives are off and cannot turn them on) then, manually push the axes slightly away from home then you can turn the drives back on.

Then complete the steps below.

If you can move the axes with joystick, then first move it far away from home position and then try to home with very low speed.

Thank you very much dear Jayesh for your kind answer to my question

I can move the axes with joystick and I moved it to some different positions of machine's movement range but unfortunately whenever I want to send machine to the home position I face to this error without any real collision !!! I have checked the microswitches too 🙁

I will be so thankful to you if you can guide me a little to overcome this problem

When homing, are you keeping your speed setting lower ?( I usually use speed setting lower than 25% because I keep my shut down location closer to home )

Does the collision message pop up when system is near or at home position or it pops up at any far away locations as soon as it starts homing?

From what I am seeing I would think this is a hardware issue-this may be an issue where it would be a good idea to contact the Zeiss Helpline.
The contact information is cic.metrology.us@zeiss.com, or 1-800-327-9735.
Please include the Serial Number of the machine, as well as your Contact Information.

In the meantime, I would suggest cleaning the scales of the machine( I do not know the specifics of this machine) per the manufacturers instructions, as dirty scales can cause the issue you are seeing in some cases.

In case of dirty scales he would be unable to turn on the drives - so this is not a point.
If you have bellow covers on Y arm then possible there is a problem with two thin ropes which are located under this cover and function as antycollision protection.
There may be also some dirt on the guideway.
Problem with CAA - this may be the point. If this is double column system then are you sure you are connected to the right CMM ? If this is single column - seems like some problem with controller
