[Ro...]
I need to reassign a base with a chip already assigned an ID to create a new stylus. When i load the new stylus system into the machine, it recognizes the old and unused "Stylus system J", and i dont know how to override the chip ID and create a new stylus system. I do not want to delete J, because in the future i may need to recreate that stylus. i doubt it, but crazier things have happened. Vast XTR head, but a plain XT base. Additionally, how do i tell my machine that when using a +X stylus, that i want all the features created to be -X clearance? My online seat almost always gets it right, my offline pretty much creates everything with a +Z default.
[Th...]
You should be able to reset and re-teach the stylus system IDs from the stylus system management menu.
