Recall Curve Points capped at 300?

Hello,

Calypso 2022...using cad>creating features I make a 2D curve with 1500 points...then using features>curve I create a curve, and then recall points from the cad created curve (without recalculate nominals checked), and the points are then capped at 300...I can then go into nominal geometry manipulation>modify nominals>number and change the number to 1500...but when I do this it recalculates my nominals even though I do not have it checked and my vectors and nominal numbers get all weird (different from the original curve)...I also have a multiple part family using multiple recalled curves and this process is very tedious. Is there a default parameter that is capping the recalled curve points to 300? Our sister plant is using an older version of calypso (6.2 i believe) and they are not having the same issue using the same program.

Thanks!

Yes but then would the machine not scan the profile twice? I'm recalling the entire curve because I have two profile tolerances, one requiring bestfit and one not. I also have multiple segment profile tolerances, also with/out bestfit. So my workflow was to create the initial curve and leave it alone...recall points for the entire profile tolerance, recall points for entire profile with best fit, and then i have 4 segments i need to report both profile and with bestfit. For those I was just deleting the points of the segments I did not need. I was trying to do all of this recalling the initial curve for sake of speed. It is all currently working I believe as intended, other than having to go in and change the points from 300 to 1500 each time. I might be approaching this completely wrong, but seemed best
