surface profile - not line profile?

I usually do one of two things. Either scan multiple 3d curves, recalling them into
a Freeform Surface, or I go to: CAD - Creating features - Point Set - Freeform
Surface From face(s). Does that help?

Thank you all for the replies, but I haven't received anything relevant.
I am telling my method, how I proceed, and if I am wrong somewhere, please correct me:
1) I do a scan with 2 d lines
2) I evaluate this scan (features) with line profile and best fit
3) because I need to choose something in the features box (line profile, see picture). now I chose linear projection,,best fit, and in the box with Evaluation (see photos) for stylus radius correction I chose nom. Spline. is OK? Do I need to change something, check something?
Thank's

I would sugest make more of 2D/3D curves ( 3D if it is rotary part ) then from Resources -> Utilities -> Alignment from Several Curves - select all curves, set options ( translate, num. of points used ) then report general surface to this alignment.
