PiWeb Reporting database question.

Hi All.

I've learned almost all I know from the good people here.
Thank You.

Today I tried to delete a single run/data set from the PiWeb database and when I select the Recourses > Results to file > PiWeb Reporting > Configuration > Managing measurements, nothing happens.

The help file says:
Managing measurements - Displays measurements in PiWeb reporting and allows deleting individual ones.

I was logged in as Master.

Maybe this feature is only available with the plus option ?

I have been using the Table template for small runs because it is easy to see part to part problems but would like the option to remove a measurement once in a while.

I have had luck deleting the whole database *.dfm file but would rather not do that.

TIA

Yes you can delete single measurements. Open the PiWeb monitor and click the drop down box that the arrow points too. In the drop down go to EDIT MEASUREMENT and you will see the second pop up window as pictured.

Then click to open the individual measurements. From here you can delete one at a time etc...

I've seen the 'Managing Measurements' screen not pop up when a program has been 'Saved as...' a new name.

Is that the case with the program you're working on now?

Thanks Mike.
That works.

Laura,

I did 'save as' a few times as I was building the program.
I also deleted the actual database file too after a few set up runs.

I'll have to try the 'Managing Measurements' again with a new program. Thank you.

Nice..

I also use that feature if the CMM shows something out, and I manually re check it I can go in and change the results. I do this at times for like ID's after I pin them with Deltronic pins etc..

What if the "Edit Measurement..." button is grayed out? Is there a way to turn this option ON and OFF? I'm using PiWeb Reporting Plus version 7.8.10.

Easiest method:
Use the "Block"/"Accepted" button in the "AcceptProtocol.ptx" or "StandardProtocol.ptx".
"Block" button locks the selected measurement in the database. 882_5adb4fc6011107bc258516d27301c16a.png
All CALYPSO standard reports have a measurement filter "Measurement is not blocked" as default
If necessary, the filter can be adjusted 882_55baf822b21510efaf31b651f9a433e4.png
