CAD model missing in '22

Hello

I have recently installed Calypso '22, but now the CAD model is missing, when I open the program in '22.
If I use '21 the CAD model is there, and also if I open the program on our other CMM or our offline seat using '22.

Any ideas what has happened and what to do?

I had a similar issue when I downloaded Calypso 21. Go to CAD>Modify CAD Entities>Hierarchy. Your model might be unchecked. Make sure it's checked and then save your program. You won't be able to open in older versions anymore. The problem went away for me. Maybe it was fixed in a service pack.

if your test plans are written with umlauts or special characters, this can no longer be read from version 7.4.00.
I don't know if there are such combinations in your native language, if they have the English version on Calypso, then pay attention to the special characters, otherwise the test plans must be saved with a new name.

Another setting to check is in File->Load Settings.

I've attached 2 articles from Zeiss, one describing the differences of each of these settings, and one the recommended solution for the CAD model being missing, which may be helpful.

I checked and my settings were already set. I am getting things a bit worse. Not only does the cad model not load ,but parts of my toolbars are missing. So far I can open a different program, and then go back to the not quite loading program, and it loads completely. It has thrown a few system errors (Unhandled Exception: message not understood:#localPointToGlobal:)and it displayed "Please Wait graphics restarting" for a split second.

Its getting annoying, but manageable. (says everyone who uses Calypso 🙂 )

Here is another article that may help, but if it is escalating it may be worth opening a ticket with the Zeiss Helpdesk.

To contact the helpline you can email cic.metrology.us@zeiss.com or call 1-800-327-9735.

If you do contact them, include the serial number of the effected CMM (or dongle# if it its an offline system), a problem description, and the contact information(Name, email, phone number, extension if relevant) for the person who they should contact to work with in resolving the issue. It is also helpful to include the availability of that person.
