[RA...]
Is it possible to take position for one polar coordinate and one Cartesian coordinate in calypso????. I Have part like Cylindrical shape, In outer Diameter of that cylinder, there are 5 Holes, They are asking position for Angle and z value for that Holes. I Have attach the Image Below.Screenshot 2022-09-03 183232.jpgScreenshot 2022-09-03 182414.jpgScreenshot 2022-09-03 182315.jpg Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9618-position-for-polar-coordinates-and-one-cartesian-coordinate/ Share on other sites
[An...]
If you have a rotary table, measuring is not a problem. An RDS head would probably also be possible. Otherwise, I have no other idea. [Er...]
I would create an alignment the same as the datum scheme. Change the Feature Representation to Cylindrical. Change the Feature from Base Alignment to the new alignment. [Er...]
Please sign in to view this quote. True. I find it easier to confirm coordinates when I set a local alignment. Our customer supplied CAD can be... imprecise. 🤣 And I do make mistakes which this makes easier to see. 😃 Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9618-position-for-polar-coordinates-and-one-cartesian-coordinate/#findComment-44904 Share on other sites
