I have also seen them posted on this forum before several times, but I wanted to make sure it was ok. I will be retiring early next year and would like to help with finding my replacement.

What is the salary range for this position? It still amazes me with 10.7 million open jobs in the US, some employers refuse to list a salary range for a position. Why would I waste my time applying to something that may pay less than what I make now? You have a budget for this position, list the range.

I hope you are able to find a terrific replacement, Reid. Enjoy retirement.

I also hope they pay the new person according to current fair market value, which is higher than what many CMM programmers are paid when considering the skillset and responsibilities of the role.

Honestly, most experienced CMM programmers with a solid grasp of GD&T should never be paid less than $90k (hourly equivalent), and I think the argument could be made for $130k+.

Hi all,

Regarding to that post I have bought an offline station but really struggle to find any customers. If you need any help remotely, please do not hesitate to contact me. Most of the programs it can be delivered next day !

I'm retiring in two years, and was thinking about buying an off-line seat. Are you advertising on LinkedIn?
I'm guessing, all in, the cost was about 15k? (Software - lap-top)

My company just recently got a quote to add Curve/freeform to our existing offline seat and it was $4,089. That was with some sort of license package discount.

Traverse City official Motto, "View of the bay, Half the pay"

If i was young and didn't have a wife & kids dragging me down, id jump on a chance to relocate to Northern Michigan.

Roberto, That is the Motto for TC lol. Fortunately this place is getting better with pay, but has a ways to go. As you probably know it is the best place to live from May to October.
