[Ad...]
I'm currently attempting to report the dXYZ, dX, dY, and dZ of a point feature. The alignment I want to report the deviations in is active, but the part is a little warped, and the measuring principle fails to measure the correct point when this alignment is active. I have another alignment that does measure the point correctly when it is active, but it is not the alignment I want to report the deviation values in. How can I measure the point in one alignment (e.g. Prealignment), but then report deviation values in a different alignment (e.g. Alignment by geometric elements)? I'm using Gom Inspect Professional 2020.
[Ja...]
Afternoon Adam , the answer is in the properties of the actual element . You can choose to enable 'alignment required' . This calculates the actual element in a certain alignment then allows you to report in another. From memory i think there is an faq about this possibility.
