Licence Violation

Me and the other programmer recently got the 2022 update off the portal, installed it but cannot get it to run.
Calypso 2022 does not open, says licence violation, 2021 still works fine.
What are we doing wrong?

I see the old license utility shortcut, so I'm guessing not. The ZLMT installer removes ZLAU automatically.

You'll need to go to the portal and get the new license tool. Also, as Clarke said, you'll need the entitlement ID to actually license 2022 for use.

Are you licensed for Calypso 2022? Open the Zeiss License Activation Utility and check all the items there. If, under the "Option Version" column, none of the items show version 7.4, then you can't run 2022.

If you didn't purchase a license (or are on an active software maintenance agreement) then 2021 is the most recent version of Calypso you can use. If you did purchase or receive one for 2022, then you will need to install the new license tool. Go to the portal and pick up the Zeiss License Management Tool. It has its own category right next to Calypso. Install it, then open it and click on the Activate button. From here, just enter the entitlement ID for 2022 and click "Activate license".
