How do you handle CMM problems

1 (90% of the time... then 2 then 3.
4 isn't really an option for me. I usually don't have coworkers that can handle more than the most basic CMM tasks.

I find that talking the problem out, even if the one you're talking to doesn't fully understand, can be a great help ! Plus I sometimes miss the easy fix .

Obviously, I talk to my coworkers about the "issues of the day."
I'm just saying that they aren't helpful, when it comes to actually diagnosing "CMM problems"

The poll needs the selection of all of the above and a few other selections like, "after screwing with it a few hours, I restarted the CMM and computer and then everything worked fine" and "on the way home from work with no distractions or the next morning with a fresh brain, I figured it out".
