How to limit needless RDS CAA articulations at the tool changer level

I don't know why but some probes get stuck at a specific articulation and every time you pick up the stylus, it issues an unnecessary articulation. This is just unneeded wear and tear on the RDS unit.
Granted I have to rotate A to 90°, but all this other BS....Really...
Can we force a stylus to always be at A0B0 before and after stylus change?

I know that the active stylus once a stylus system is picked up is whichever stylus is active when the Probing System Qualification window is closed. Maybe it works the same for articulation?

When I working with an RDS, I remember cheesing it to do what you are asking, Rick. The unnecessary articulations bothered me, too. I think my workaround was either what Justin mentioned, or I think it articulates to the A-B of the last stylus system created and/or qualified.

I can set the active stylus to A0B0 prior to storing the stylus.
It doesn't seem to make a difference.

Check the previous programs End Park Position...If it has a different setting, it has transferred to the current position....sometimes !?!

Whenever you pick up an RDS-CAA Stylus system, it sees A90 B0 as a valid position so it doesn't index back to A0 B0 like a standard RDS Stylus System.

As mentioned earlier, the position that a standard RDS Stylus System is in when you close the Probing System Qualification window is the position it will return to when picked up.
