Tangential Probing

Is there a way to keep Tangential Probing from being active on new features?

I have it by "default" on circles and cylinders. Don't know how to turn it off 🤣

Short of disabling the related option license, I'm not aware of a way to.

Like said before, you can deactivate the "Navigator" license, if never needed.
Or you can define a preset for each feature strategy.

Save /load defaults. If you have an angle set for the scan as the default then it won't choose tangential. Been working for me...

I have to ask "what is tangential probing"? I have never turned it on before. I found the "basics about tangential probing" in the user guide but I am still not sure.

Normally tip goes to touch, then runs a circular scanning.
Tangential starting close to material and running circular path slowly increasing in diameter to gentle touch material.

Machininst can show you same thing with cutting tools.
