Name for Output Files

When you create the "Name for Output Files for ALL measurement Plans" template, where is that template stored? I created one on my Planner seat and want to transfer it to the CMM.

I've looked everywhere and I can't find where this is stored. Program Files, ProgramData, Public Documents, even the registry. It must be in a database format or binary file that I can't read.

Yes, I also spent a good deal of time looking for files with newer timestamps but no luck. Fortunately, I can copy the script to a text file and then copy and paste it to the CMM so it may not be too painful.

So it turns out Notepad search is drunk and can't find things. C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO\config\env\values has all of my own custom output settings. Should be at the top, just after #outputFileDefinition. Problem is, it's a big honking text file with little in the way of human-readable formatting, so my eyes are glazing over trying to read it. I'm doing what you described, I think. I just have a text file on the network with all the definitions in it, and when I need to set up a new machine I just paste those in.

Found mine in the program folder in the protocols & protocols_pre txt documents. Is that what you are looking for?

Not sure we're talking about the same thing Clarke. The protocols.log and protocols_pre.log files appear to be logs of the files that were produced during the run. I was looking for the script that tells Calypso how to name the file and where to save it.
