writing values using monitor

I need help, I need to enter values using the monitor so that they are written to the database in the planner.

In designer, under "Interactive Elements" select Button and place in your header. Then select the button and go to properties. under the General Tab, click on the menu icon for "Hyperlink", select the dropdown for "Add Action", and under PiWeb Server, select "Measured Data Input". This will pop up some radio buttons on the right side of the pop up menu, select "Create New Measurement and initialize attributes". You will also need to add "Write Changes" button as well.

initialize attributes infers you want the same measurement attributes carried over to the next record. I.E if I was working on all the same work order number. Create new measurement is blank.
