Model Selection no longer showing

I can't figure this out. Usually when I select a surface to create the feature it will display on the model as a bright magenta color. Now when I select a model it doesn't show at all. Under CAD/Settings/Colors selection shows the color it should be. Any ideas?

I've had missing surfaces on the model and tried CAD/ CAD File/Automatic Healing and they reappeared.
Don't know if it will work in your case but might be worth a try.

Silly suggestion, but is it just happening on one model? The reason I ask is because I was working on a project where the model actually had 2 surfaces overlaying each other. 2 surfaces, on every single surface, in the exact same location. I could delete one surface from Modify CAD entities and then I'd see the highlighted surface.

If I recall this is the 2nd or 3rd model I have seen it on. I checked the CAD Hierarchy and this is the only model showing.

Have you upgraded to a newer version of Calypso? I had this same issue. I could see it with the wire frame model. Have you tried to delete and reload the model?

-Go into Cad>Modify Cad Entities>Hierarchy
-Select your old model and delete it
-Simply load your new model and orient it to the correct position
-Save the model

and in wireframe i cannot see it

cannot upgrade program becouse they are making it not compatibile with little bit older machines and its risk of neccesary upgrading some electronic inside and company will not take this risk and not pay, its too much.

I just started having this exact same issue with all new programs i am making. Tried all solutions and nothing. Have you fixed it?

Go to Cad, view, Redraw Cad model. This has always worked for me.

I've had a model turn black...no border lines , nothing but a black blob in the middle of the screen. We did nothing to bring this about. later the same day, I returned to the same program and the model was back to normal.

We still have leftover lines showing on programs with no models. Even toggling between " show all cad features" and "show selected cad features" doesn't work all the time anymore. It seems to be getting worse over time.

I am so frustrated with this program !

This is definitely Gremlins that were not removed with the 2021 verision of Calypso. Hopefully with updates this will be corrected.
