[Ri...]
This is a two part question. 1. How do I disable or turn off scan optimization for a single feature? 2. Does scan optimization ignore assigned alignments to a feature? I ask part 2 because it physically appears to ignore the assigned alignment to a feature. [To...]
When I want to make a feature avoid scanning optimization, I will do 1 of several things. Click the None button under Projection, click Meas Ref and select Own Geometry (ID's only) or from another duplicate circle, measured it with 4 touch points. Or use a formula to pull location and size info from the touch point circle. Yes, it still takes time to do this but I never run into a 2nd scan at slower speeds. Can't answer part 2/Screenshot 2022-01-31 111420.jpg Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/11134-how-to-turn-off-scan-optimization-for-a-single-feature/#findComment-54506 Share on other sites
[Ri...]
My mistake... In this case I am working with a Taurus. It doesn't appear to have that option. [To...]
Create a copy of the torus and measure it with some points.. Then, use formulas in the actual torus to reference the "points" torus.
