RT axis alignment

Recommended Posts

Can i make a rotary table axis alignment using a two planes or one cirkle and one plane?

I have a part where i need to clamp on the bottom diameter witch a special made clamping structure that has 3 openings on the diameter.
It is not possible to measure this diameter when the BA does not rotate with RT is active because my probe will then collide with the clamping structure.

@Owen Long: You mean i only have to use one plane? at two different RT angles?
See attachment for the setup. the red structure is the clamping structure.

@Keith: How does it work because i will need to make a symmetry out of these feautures and also measure at two different RT angles?

On the top i can measure a circle 360° but on the bottom i need to turn the RT because i can't scan the plane in one time.

I need to rotate the RT and measure the plane in two times, so i need to make a recall of a plane and then make a perpendicular of the plane.
