[Ro...]
I'm having trouble with my cad view going black, and the only workaround ive found is to close calypso and restart it. Seems like i've had this problem before, but i cant remember what the fix was. [Cl...]
No help, but it happened to me last week. Although we were having network connection problems on that machine. So I don't know if that was the cause, just thought I'd mention it. Something to look at maybe?

[Ch...]
Since upgrading to 7.2, I've had this happen to me a couple times. Its the worst kind of problem because it is random and low frequency. I can't find a root cause because I'm not able to replicate it. Minor problem but annoying.

[Ro...]
So today im working on much smaller parts, and I've had very few problems. I guess it could be larger cad models or maybe individual cad models causing problems. I need to put a call into Zeiss tech for some other issues, maybe i can tack this on to that call. [Ri...]
I've mainly had this happen when point data is very high. I read, some years back, maybe v6.x, that any scans over 20k points could cause errors in math and cause the ACIS kernel to hang up. A black screen leads me to believe its the ACIS Kernel. [To...]
I saw a video on youtube that said "crtl-shift-windows key b" will reset graphics card. Might be worth a shot
[Ro...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Whoa...... That definitely did something, it made my screens jump, but it did not fix the black screen.
[Ch...]
NVIDIA graphics card? Is it set to Motiondesk compatible? Heavy CAD/Rendering load ? Multiple programs/CADs Open ?
[Da...]
I had a similar issue with a different system. The issue there was that Windows is trying to use the onboard (Intel) chipset for the video, rather then the NVidia video card. Might be worth a check of your resolution settings to see if you have something similar going on.
