[Ch...] Posted September 9, 2021 Share Posted September 9, 2021 I get this error when I automatically pickup a regular(non-XTR) adapter plate probe with my XTR head, even though I have all ID chip settings turned off. The XTR Plates have more contacts than a XT plate so depending on how your plate is handled (Manual probe changes, dirty brushes on stylus bay) may increase the amount of contaminates on the contacts.
