Hello all.
Was hoping that someone could help me. I am needing to measure this long core pin 2 separate places but the pin is on a 2 deg. angle. Only when a do a cone or cylinder can I get the correct answer but I need 2 separate circles.
TIA
Lisa

I am trying to get the linear dimensions and the TP using a circle on the top of the core pin and a circle at the bottom. While doing a cylinder gets me the dimensions. work is wanting 2 circles one at top and one at bottom.

I am going to attempt to make that "0" then rotate the coordinate system 2Deg. Then measure the 2 circles.

If you create a secondary alignment, open it and then measure a cone feature, it will populate the Spatial and X/Y Origin properties needed to measure the 2 circles. Or, use the special button to translate and rotate to the desired postion. After you create the alignment, close it. Go to CAD, Pre-assignment for new features. Select the new alignment and leave the window open. Next, create your 2 circles. They will automatically have the new alignment applied to them.
