[Mi...]
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could assist or point me in the right direction with the measurement plan simulator on my offline seat. So I loaded the my RC stylus information from one of our online seats, then I imported the .pcf file to get all the geometries. Now I would like to import the .ssc file to the correct stylus for simulation purposes while keeping the stylus geometries. This is what I have tried. Planner/Import SSC File/Load System/Accept Loaded SSC File. Then I select the the correct stylus system. When I do this, the simulation model in present but I have lost all my geometries. When I go back into the geometries and import the .pcf file I then lose the stylus creation model. I've only been working with Calypso for about 7 months now, so any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Regards, Michael
[Te...]
Stylus System can only have one name and can't be duplicated I had a case where I was setting up an offline seat for a customer and I had them send me the .pcf files so I had the correct names and all the rotations and pictures with dimension of all the stylus systems . After I loaded the .pcf files I copied them each one and added the letter A to the end of all of them. Then I deleted the original ones without the A. Went to stylus builder and created the stylus system using the correct name without the extra A at the end. After importing them I went thru each one and add all the rotations using the stylus system with the A at the end to add the rotations and names. Was a pretty easy task. I have attach my Creating RDS Stylus List Guide I give my students so you can see how I added the rotations from the pre existing stylus systems. Hope this helpsCreating RDS Stylus List 2018 Rev 01A.pdf
