re-loading a model after changes are made to it

Hello all, I am in a situation where I have done a substantial amount of programming on a part, and now a few features on the model were drawn incorrectly and subsequently machined incorrectly and programmed on the CMM incorrectly, so I need to be able to reload the new revision of the model and not lose the work I have completed on the rest of it, Is there and easy way to do that in Calypso 2019? I know in the CAM software I use for programming CNC's I can just upload the new model in a different "layer" and orient it so that it aligns with the original model. Any feedback/help is greatly appreciated! I have sent a service/applications request into Zeiss, but it seems like the users on this board are much quicker on the response back! Thanks in Advance!!

Please sign in to view this quote.

-Go into Cad>Modify Cad Entities>Hierarchy

-Select your old model and delete it

-Simply load your new model and orient it to the correct position

-Save the model

Now you can select those changed features again and program them from the correct model.

The nominals that have been pulled from the correct parts of the old model will always stay in those features, even if you delete the model.

Thanks! I believe I did it correctly, once bringing in the new model, I just used the positioning tab in the modify cad model window, it appears to be as it should. I will find out shortly. Thanks again for the help!
