Hi there!

I took part in the Zeiss #measuringhero Awards and... I won!! 😜 I ranked first place in the category 'Outstanding application: smallest measured object'

Click on the link below to watch a very short video I've made about measuring this tiny product: only 0.4 x 0.4 x 0.03 mm (0.016 x 0.016 x 0.0012").

What do you reckon: can you beat this in the next #measuringhero Awards?

There are 10 winners in 7 different categories - coming from Brasil, USA, Germany, Italy, Turkey and the Netherlands (wohoo!).

The prize is:
  • Travel expenses covered by Zeiss
  • Three nights in a five star hotel
  • One day of Porsche Travel Experience
  • One day training at the Zeiss headquarters - my personal favorite!
Hoping to receive all them goodies in October - depending on travel restrictions at that very moment.

I'm self employed, so I prefer not to talk about our rates or sales prices.

Totally fine, I was just qurious if its economically motivated to measure it in a CMM.

Like part value = 0.5$
5 minuts of cmm = 10$.

Wasn't my intention to snoop around. πŸ™„

Thanks for your understanding.

If the client wants an inspection report and is willing to pay for it... I'm okay with it. πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»
