[Di...]
Dear Community, I have done alignment for scanned STL file and CAD file and generated report, Now I want to replace this STL file with new STL file and do the alignment but alignment circles drawn for alignment of previous STL file gets deviated while replacing and can not be edited. While this editing was possible in GOM Inspect V7.5 but not in GOM 2021. How can I edit previously drawn alignment circles? Solution [Be...] Posted November 7, 2022 Solution Share Posted November 7, 2022 Hi, usually fitting elements (also some other elements) got a so called Required alignment flag. This flag indicates that this element is only computed once in the alignment which you can define. If such an element is used for computing a depending alignment (e.g. in your case the RPS alignment) this element could not be edited during this alignment is active. Otherwise we would get a circular dependency which would lead to infinite looping. Simply switch into the computation alignment of the fitting circle and edit the element.
