[Ia...]
First off, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to Piweb. However, I'm attempting to use a custom user field. I'm under the impression once I map a variable, it should display in designer? I've looked everywhere.
[La...]
Hi Ian, PiWeb references little databases for every measurement plan. If you haven't "pushed" that new variable to the database, Designer won't yet see it exists. Imagine adding a column to an Excel spreadsheet. Put some input into your newly created userfield via Printout Header Parameters or via the run screen entry, even if it's just "test". Then run your program, or re-run existing values without clearing existing results. After that has run, you can open Designer and you should see your new variable there. Another way to confirm your data is writing properly is to go to Resources > Results to File > PiWeb reporting configuration > and then click Managing Measurements. It shows you all of your results. Scroll over and make sure there is data in the WO field, for example. Laura
