[Sa...]
So I looked around the forum and saw a post explaining that the option for merged plans are for a horizontal CMM. I was wondering if there's a way to use the previous OPs measurement plan to roll it over for the next Op. Sorry if I'm not being clear. I have a turn print that's not much different from the finish, can I use that like a copy that way I can go in and change what I need to instead of making a new plan for the finished part? I was asked to make plans for every Op so any advice is appreciated! Using Calypso 2018 6.6 Contura vast XT
[Da...]
You are more talking about PCM You can also setup mini planes on a larger program. Thanks Danny
[To...]
You can open OP10 program and Save as OP20 and then edit the items that have changed, delete the items not being inspected and adding items that are new for OP20.

[To...]
Yes, mini-plans are good as long as your base alignment features exist in their original condition throughout all of the operations. Though, I think I'm going to hear about some valid workarounds... 🤣

The Base Alignment changed significantly between some operations. Automatic Start Alignments work well for some of these challenges. Every challenge is unique though.
