How to hide measurement gaps on line profile plots?

I've started working with PiWeb reporting again to try and get ahead of the inevitable(?) end of the custom report, and I've pretty quickly run into a display issue with line profile plots. What I'm currently doing is defining a single curve feature that passes through standoff pins and pressure clamps and the like, defining segment paths to measure what isn't occluded, and using the evaluation limiters to exclude the sections of the curve I'm skipping over. When I use a graphics element to display the associated curve form, these excluded segments are not displayed, leaving gaps in the nominal, actual, and tolerance band lines. If I copy the feature and recall the points from the actual measured curve (for some odd scenarios involving limiting evaluation within the physically measured segments) that associated curve form does display the excluded segments in a graphics element, but I can manually hide the ones that shouldn't be shown. This is what I want.

However, if I use a line profile element in PiWeb, while the excluded actuals are hidden, PiWeb is still drawing the full nominal and tolerance band, and on the actual point line, is drawing directly between segment end points. What's worse, within the editor, the segment selection dropdown only gives me one segment to pick, which appears to be the entire curve feature.

I attached screenshots of the same section of a part as viewed from PiWeb and the legacy graphics element. How can I get PiWeb to blank out that zone? This is the version of PiWeb Reporting that ships with Calypso 6.6.28.

OK, that's solved one problem and introduced another. By applying segmented tolerances within my curve feature, I'm able to get the PiWeb plot to pull segments as well. I am using the profile characteristic to plot where you're using the curve form characteristic in your sample program, but I think the end result here is the same.

My new problem is that using segmented tolerances in conjunction with the nominal vector direction eval limiter is causing all my segments to shift way out of position in PiWeb, such that only the first masked segment is in the right place in the plot. This results in a bunch of masked zones getting included in a segment with real data, and all the masking normally done on those zones is being applied on the plot hundreds of points further along the curve. Turning this option off gets my segments in the right areas visually, but ruins the reported profile value.

You're Right, at the moment there is no 100% solution for your request 🙁

Using "CurveForm", PiWeb shows red "out of evaluation range",
by "LineForm", the two segments are connected with straight lines

The masked are not used for PiWeb output.

I will create a ticket at ZEISS Software Service, "masked nominal must be handled as into roundness" according to the masked areas.

At the moment I prefer "Line Profile_2", as shown by pdf
