[Ro...]
So im working remotely with a sister plant on a customer supplied program. everything is pretty straight forward, no surprises and the program runs just fine, in master. The problem is that when we switch over to the Operator login, everything shifts Y+ about a half inch. We try to runa manual alignment and the features are now all showing +Y where in Master they are completely normal. We ran manual alignment We ran "Execute manual mode" There is no offset in the alignment We added a 3 point start alignment to try and make calypso re figure things. It works fine in master, but will not run in Operator. Any help?ghfghfgfgd.JPG
[Da...]
So the program runs in master user? when you run it in operator are you running the (CNC) version? or redoing the manual alignment? So there are problems that we ran in to with the user not that one but problems we ended up deleting the users and making them again.
[Ri...]
Try deleting the Base Alignment, and trying again.
[Ro...]
ok i think we got it figured out, there was a formula in the Y that for whatever reason wasnt updating in operator, OR maybe it was a problem with the machine default being in inch vs the machine default in sweden where the program came from being in MM. maybe the default for operator & master is different at my sister site. whatever it was we got rid of the un necessary formula and were running now. Note: the formulas not a terrible idea, but now without it my guy will just have to make sure he loads the part the same every time, and variations in loading wont be compensated for. So the formula might end up back in at a later date and well have to figure out the reason for the difference at that time (I think its the default situation)fgjhfgdjhfgjd.JPG
[Ri...]
Ah, yes. The old formula not converting. I love that problem. Good catch.
[Da...]
Users have problems that is a new one for me but interesting nonetheless. I had an IP address problem with my users. We found the issue but users have little quirk
