[Er...]
I have a two week old Accura 2. The -Y- Drive is extremely noisy when moving in the -Y- plus direction only. (very loud clicking noise) when moving in the -Y- minus its very quit. The service tech who set it up said its normal for the accura 2. Has anyone had this issue? 2019 Accura 2 1200/1800/1000 Vast gold/ RDS Vast XXXT/ ViScan. Integrated Rotary Table
[Ke...]
Yes, I am also told that a "noisy" Y-Drive is common. We had ours replaced (under warranty) and it is *much* better. I can't recall if the original Y-Drive made Clicking noises or not... but it was really noisy. I'm also believe that I was told that there is a retrofit that is available, that is quieter. But, If you purchased your machine through Zeiss, you may be able to get a better response (free replacement, or price break on retrofit) from your Zeiss sales rep... at this point, Zeiss should be explaining the potential noise issues prior to purchase. Good luck,

[Wo...]
My Accura 2 is very loud. Escpecially in the Y, there is a constant sound from the motor that is similiar to the cables moving around. The tech thought its the cables untill I told him to disassemble the covers and listen himself. Accura 1 sounds much better imo.
[Ow...]
I don't have the best hearing in the world but, my Accura 2 doesn't make any noise I wouldn't expect. A humming noise while running at full 460 speed, no clicking.
